Phillip has 20 years of financial investment experience as a fund manager, portfolio manager, investment adviser, & research analyst. He specialises in employing financial engineering tools & mathematical finance concepts to structure risk mitigating opportunistic portfolios.

Previously, Phillip was a founding partner and Chief Investment Officer at Axia Corporation Limited, a Hong Kong-based company focused on implementing InsurTech solutions. Prior to that, he was the founder of Phinary Systems Limited, a financial technology specialist that provides unbiased computational investment management solutions.

Phillip worked in Switzerland as a Senior Advisor with Absolute Investment Services Ltd where he focused on global alternative investments, including hedge fund manager research and due diligence. And earlier, he was a Fund Manager at Clariden Leu AG, a Credit Suisse owned entity, where he managed two Swiss registered funds - an Asia Pacific-focused Multi-Style Fund of Hedge Funds, and a Japan-focused Multi-Manager Fund of Hedge Funds. In Asia, Phillip specialised in alternative investments and absolute return opportunities in Hong Kong, where he managed bespoke portfolios of hedge funds for high net worth individuals and advised on active trading strategies for private clients. He was also responsible for hedge fund strategy research & manager selections from across different hedge fund investment styles.
